The CfA (Council for Administration) is the National Standards Setting Body for Business & Administration skills, covering the whole of the UK. The organisation is a non-for profit organisation and responsible for designing National Occupational Standards (NOS), vocational qualifications and learning frameworks.
The CfA develops qualifications and approves a range of qualifications, frameworks and learning programmes for the Business & Administration sector. Each offering is developed in consultation with our partners, sector specialists and employers and is in line with the (NOS).
The current organisation's capacity consists of 18 staff in total. The development team is pivotal to the company's success and consists of 7 team members, each with specific experience, knowledge and expertise in their relevant field, including European project work. The team is responsible for the development of national standards and qualifications, specialist standards, the new Specialised Diploma concept, research work and involved at national policy making level.
The CfA's dedication to vocational education has contributed significantly to the enhanced profile of vocational learning within the Business & Administration sector.
