The sending organisation provides also a preparation on different topics
1. the language: a preparation divided into three sectors
a. improving the competences on the English language held by the trainee
b. providing a specific preparation concerning the technical language
c. organizing, together with the host organization, a possible "crash course" on the basics of the hosting country's mother language
2. culture: providing information on cultural differences, local traditions, the diet, etc. and preparing the trainee for living and working in a new culture
3. job: providing information on the trainee's roles and responsibilities in coordination with the company and/or the host organization
4. guidance: providing the trainee with an instrument functional to detect the company's requirements and expectations in order to understand and fill the competence gap
The trainee can be informed through several means:
- information letters
- if the trainee is under age or a major depending on the family, the sending organisation should inform the family in order to obtain the declaration on the responsibility assumption; if the trainee is a major and stand-alone, he/she should directly provide the declaration
- interviews with the former internship trainee
- easy simulations to solve possible logistical problems (transport, etc.).
